Simone E. Poyourow joined the firm as an associate in the litigation department in February 2023. She is dedicated to resolving a wide range of clients’ disputes in business, entertainment, real estate, intellectual property, and employment matters. Ms. Poyourow enjoys consulting with clients to assess and manage risk liability in various facets of the law, and has successfully facilitated, negotiated, and drafted service agreements on behalf of talent, studios, and record labels.
Ms. Poyourow graduated with honors from Southwestern Law School’s accelerated 2-year SCALE Program. While attending law school, she was a Moot Court lead writer and worked as a law clerk for the law school’s Entertainment and Media Law Clinic. Ms. Poyourow also served as a student representative for Southwestern’s Entertainment Law Society, and was a law clerk at Paramount Pictures’ Production Risk department. Prior to law school, Ms. Poyourow worked in the Business and Legal Affairs department at Interscope Records, which confirmed her desire to pursue a career as an attorney.
Before she began her legal career, Ms. Poyourow earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UC Santa Cruz. As part of her undergraduate studies, Ms. Poyourow interned at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in Washington, D.C. and for the Alternate Defender’s Office of Santa Clara County.
Ms. Poyourow is a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before the Northern and Central Districts of California.
