Sunny S. Nassim joined the firm in December 2005. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with honors, and from California Western School of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2001. Ms. Nassim is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Ms. Nassim is the head of the firm’s Intellectual Property division. For nearly three decades, Ms. Nassim has been an avid participant in Action Sports and has been involved in the growth of this industry by bridging the gap between the Action Sports Industry and mainstream commerce. Ms. Nassim has worked with world-renown professional athletes, privately held and public corporations, small growing businesses, as well as actors, writers, directors, and producers/independent production companies in the Entertainment Industry. In addition to Intellectual Property and Entertainment, Ms. Nassim also advises clients with their Business Transactions, Licensing, and Distribution Deals.
Ms. Nassim has presented to trade professionals in different industries and has also written numerous articles for trade publications such as Transworld Business and the Entertainment, Arts, and Publishing Handbook. In 2016, Ms. Nassim was named as a Woman of Achievement by the Century City Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council. She is also currently the Co-Chair of the Rising Leaders Committee of the Los Angeles Chapter of Iranian American Women Foundation.
